The deposit must be paid by check or money order.

The deposit has two (2) parts: 

The first part, (equal to 1 month of rent) is intended to cover a final month of rent, in the event of non-payment of monthly rent resulting in eviction. 

The second part (remainder) is a security deposit designed to assist in covering the costs associated with damages, (whether intentional or otherwise), that the renter may have caused to the property.

NOTE: The landlord reserves the right to take legal to recover the cost of damages in excess of the deposited amount.
